11.00 – 12.30 h: Guided tour of the old town of St. Gallen, UNESCO World Cultural Heritage and visit of the Cathedral
12.30 – 14.00 h: Lunch at restaurant Market Place
14.15 h: Bus transfer from St. Gallen to Appenzell
14.45 – 16.15 h: Free time in Appenzell
16.30 – 18.00 h: Guided tour through the company „Appenzeller Alpenbitter“, Visit of the cultivation of 42 herbs for the „Appenzeller Alpenbitter“ and liqueur degustation
18.00 h: Departure

14.00 – 14.30 h: Tansfer to the meeting point of the guided tour
14.30 – 16.30 h: Guided tour through the old town of Ravensburg and climbing of the Blaser tower
16.00 – 17.45 h: Visit of the Christmas Market in Ravensburg

10.15 – 10.30 h: Welcome by the Students’ Councel and Director
10.30 – 11.00 h: Reception with coffee and music
11.00 h: Bus transfer to the Kartause in Ittingen, a former monastery founded in 1150
12.00 – 13.00 h: Guided tour of the Kartause Ittingen
13.15 – 14.15 h: Lunch in ethnic atmosphere
14.30 – 15.30 h: Cultural program at Lake Nussbaum. If the weather is nice: swimming is possible
15.45 – 16.30 h: Bus transfer to Mannenbach / Salenstein
16.30 – 17.50 h: Boat trip from Mannbach / Salenstein to Kreuzlingen
18.00 h: Bus departure

Excursion to Switzerland (Werdenberg), Liechtenstein and Austria: Saturday, 16 June 2007

Program:
10.00 h: Arrival at Werdenberg, CH
10.00 – 10.30 h: Visit of Werdenberg, the only medieval town in Switzerland still inhabited: UNESCO world heritage site
10.30 – 11.00 h: Transfer to Steg in Liechtenstein, where one has a spectacular view into the Rhine valley
11.00 – 16.00 h: Hike through a romantic and wild valley across the border to Austria
16.00 – 18.00 h: Common dinner (possibly with traditional music)
18.00 h: Departure
Costs: 10 Euro (15 CHF) only! Register at your International Office. What you need: provide yourself with some food during the hike, good shoes, raincoat and passport (visa for the EU).
